Urban Meyer holds no ill will towards Baker Mayfield for his flag planting incident following the Sooners' upset over Ohio State in 2017.
In fact, Meyer loves him.

In his new role as an analyst for Fox Sports, the now-retired Buckeye coach spoke to Colin Cowherd during an appearance on Fox's The Herd on Friday.
When asked about Mayfield, Meyer called him one of his "favorite players of all time."
“I coached against Baker (Mayfield) two years in a row,” Meyer told Cowherd. “We beat them in Oklahoma and he beat us in Columbus. He’s one of my favorite players of all time. I know he planted a flag, I think, in the middle of the horseshoe when they beat us but he’s competitive. He raises the level of play around him."
Mayfield, for his part, did apologize for his antics afterwards, saying "he did not mean for it to be disrespectful at all," and is currently leading an Ohio team himself.
