"Thank you for BIA, thank you to the coaching staff, thank you for everything," Hancock said after having his stripe removed. "Go Bucks!"
Hancock, the No. 5 cornerback and No. 73 overall player in the class of 2021, becomes the second summer enrollee on the defensive side of the ball to lose his black stripe, following only five-star defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau.
Thirteen freshmen in the 2021 class have now shed their black stripe, as Hancock loses his on the same day as five-star offensive lineman Donovan Jackson and fellow defensive back Jantzen Dunn.
