Davison Igbinosun, Sonny Styles and Carnell Tate are staying at Ohio State for 2025.
Saturday's spring game will feature live tackling.
After playing the last few years without tackling, Ohio State's spring game will be full-contact once again this year with Ryan Day announcing on Thursday that the Buckeye will tackle for the majority of the game.
Day said the plan is to start the game with thud tackling for the first couple series – where the ball-carrier is stopped, but not brought to the ground – but following that, the rest of the game will be played with tackling.
"I think it's the right thing to do to tackle in this game," Day said on Thursday. "We still have a lot of young guys that need to get out there and play football."
Ohio State has not tackled in a spring game yet under Ryan Day. The Buckeyes played both the 2019 and 2021 spring games with thud tackling throughout the game while the 2020 spring game was canceled due to COVID-19.
This will be the first spring game to feature live tackling since the 2018 spring game, ahead of Urban Meyer's final season at Ohio State.
