Three Buckeyes were named Sporting News All-Americans Tuesday.

Big Ten Wide Receiver of the Year Marvin Harrison Jr., who achieved consensus All-American status Monday after earning a first-team nod from the Associated Press, is the lone Ohio State player to receive a first-team selection by Sporting News.

Harrison led the Buckeyes with 72 catches for 1,157 yards and 12 touchdowns in the regular season and was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award. Harrison also earned first-team All-Big Ten status and was previously named a first-team All-American by the AP, Pro Football Focus, CBS Sports, The Athletic, Bleacher Report, Walter Camp Football and the Football Writers Association of America.

Sporting News selected Buckeye right tackle Dawand Jones among its second-team All-American honorees. A second-year starter for Ohio State, Jones' offensive PFF grade of 83.8 ranks seventh-best in the nation. Jones was named a second-team All-American by the AP on Monday and had previously earned first-team status by both PFF and CBS Sports.

Tommy Eichenberg was the lone representative of the Ohio State defense on the Sporting News list. The Buckeyes' starting middle linebacker, who led the team with 112 total tackles and 12 tackles for loss through 12 games, earned second-team All-American honors Tuesday. PFF and Bleacher Report previously named Eichenberg a first-team All-American, while the Walter Camp Football Foundation, CBS Sports, FWAA and AP awarded him second-team status.
