For the second straight day, a member of the Buckeye offense has entered the transfer portal.
Third-year offensive lineman Ben Christman is looking for a new landing spot to continue his college football career after spending the 2021 and 2022 seasons in scarlet and gray.

Christman is the third scholarship Buckeye to enter the transfer portal in the post-spring window, following kicker Jake Seibert and wide receiver Caleb Burton. The latter entered the transfer portal on Tuesday.
A four-star recruit and the No. 124 player in the 2021 class, the Akron native out of Revere High School redshirted as a true freshman for Ohio State, a season in which he didn't take a single snap. Christman shed his black stripe in November of 2021 as the fourth offensive lineman in his recruiting class to do so.
Christman didn't see much of an uptick in opportunity in his second season, though, playing just nine snaps all year with all of them coming in the Buckeyes' blowout win over Indiana on Nov. 12, 2022.
In Ohio State's spring game, Christman logged the third-most snaps of any Ohio State offensive lineman (48) and began the exhibition as the Buckeyes' second-team left guard. However, returning starter and five-star recruit Donovan Jackson figures to dominate reps at the position in 2023.
