Big Ten football media members think Marvin Harrison Jr. will add another accolade to his résumé in 2023.

In an annual preseason poll by Cleveland.com, Harrison appeared on 35 of 37 ballots and received 27 first-place votes to be named preseason Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year by Big Ten beat reporters.

Harrison racked up 94 points in the poll and beat out the combined point totals of Michigan running back Blake Corum (56) and quarterback J.J. McCarthy (27), who came in second and third place, respectively. McCarthy collected the second-most first-place votes with five, while Corum recorded four. Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord was the only other player to receive a first-place nod, earning one vote.

Ohio State has dominated the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year award in the last decade. Quarterback Braxton Miller received the honor in 2012 and 2013, running back Ezekiel Elliott won in 2015 and quarterbacks Dwayne Haskins (2018), Justin Fields (2019, 2020) and C.J. Stroud (2021, 2022) have claimed the prize the past five seasons.

Harrison, who was named the Big Ten Richter-Howard Receiver of the Year and a unanimous All-American last season for his 77 catches, 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns, will look to become the conference's third wide receiver to win Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year since the award started in 1990. The previous two winners were both Wolverines, with Desmond Howard winning in 1991 and Braylon Edwards winning in 2004.

McCord finished seventh in the preseason media poll with five points. TreVeyon Henderson and Emeka Egbuka also represented the Buckeyes in the poll, as Henderson tied for eighth with Penn State offensive lineman Olu Fashanu with two points, and Egbuka finished 11th with one point.
