A pair of first-career touchdowns were recorded on one play for Ohio State in the second quarter against Western Kentucky.
Capping off his series drive of the game, quarterback Devin Brown launched a 28-yard bomb into the outstretched arms of Carnell Tate, who hauled in a touchdown catch that extended Ohio State's lead to 56-10 in the fourth quarter.
It was the first career touchdown pass for Brown and the first career touchdown reception for Tate.

In total Brown went 3-for-3 with 40 yards passing and the score on his first possession under center Saturday.
Tate caught an additional 12-yard pass from Brown earlier in the drive. He recorded his first career reception in Ohio State's first game of the season against Indiana, showcasing his potential early as a freshman.
