Ohio State and Penn State both have rosters loaded with future NFL players, so it’s no surprise the league will be well-represented inside Ohio Stadium today.
A total of 30 representatives from 20 NFL teams are set to be inside the Shoe to get a closer look at the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions as they go head-to-head today. (No word yet on whether Michigan will have any scouts in attendance.)
The New England Patriots, Washington Commanders, Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders will each have two or three representatives at Ohio Stadium on Saturday while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Chargers, New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons, Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals will each have one.
The more high-profile matchups NFL scouts will surely be watching in today's game include the battle on the perimeter between Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and Penn State cornerback Kalen King and the battle in the trenches between Penn State left tackle Olu Fashanu and Ohio State defensive ends JT Tuimoloau and Jack Sawyer. Harrison and Fashanu are both potential top-five overall picks in the 2024 NFL draft, while Tuimoloau and King are also projected early-rounders.
Other Ohio State players participating in Saturday’s game who could be 2024 NFL draft picks include tight end Cade Stover, left guard Donovan Jackson, defensive tackles Tyleik Williams and Mike Hall, linebacker Tommy Eichenberg and safeties Lathan Ransom and Josh Proctor.
Penn State’s other potential 2024 NFL draft picks include tight ends Theo Johnson and Tyler Warren, right tackle Caedan Wallace, defensive ends Chop Robinson and Adisa Isaac, linebacker Curtis Jacobs and cornerback Johnny Dixon.
Ohio State vs. Penn State kicks off at noon on FOX.
