Ohio State demolishes Tennessee, 42-17, and advances to the Rose Bowl to face top-seeded Oregon.
One of Ohio State's top targets at linebacker in the transfer portal is headed elsewhere.
Former California linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr committed to TCU on Wednesday despite taking an official visit to Columbus last weekend.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker played in 11 games last season for the Golden Bears and collected 92 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one fumble recovery and six quarterback hits. He also recorded one interception and five pass breakups.
With Tommy Eichenberg departing for the NFL Draft and Steele Chambers expected to do the same, Ohio State hopes to add a linebacker in the transfer portal to either start alongside Cody Simon or provide depth for the linebacker room along with C.J. Hicks and Gabe Powers, to name a few.
Now that Elarms-Orr is off the board, OSU's top target at linebacker is likely Tackett Curtis, who entered the transfer portal earlier this week. Curtis had a top three of USC, Wisconsin and Ohio State before ultimately signing with the Trojans in the 2023 recruiting class, and he was a priority target for Jim Knowles. Knowles has reached out to Curtis since he entered the portal, per 247Sports, and there is believed to be mutual interest between the two parties.
