Another Buckeye is heading to Seattle.
Former Ohio State linebacker Jerome Baker is signing a one-year, $7 million contract with the Seattle Seahawks, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday.

Baker joins the Seahawks after six seasons with the Miami Dolphins, who released him earlier this month. He recorded 587 total tackles with 31 tackles for loss, 22.5 sacks, five interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), six forced fumbles and one fumble recovery during his career with the Dolphins, in which he started 82 games.
With the signing of Baker, the Seahawks are set to have three former Ohio State players in their 2024 starting lineup. Dre’Mont Jones and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are both entering their second year in Seattle, which signed Jones to a three-year, $51 million contract and selected Smith-Njigba in the first round of the NFL draft last offseason.
Baker is the eighth Buckeye to sign with an NFL team since free agency began this week.
