The Big Ten updated the start time for Saturday's matchup between Ohio State and Michigan State.
On Sept. 16, the conference announced that the Buckeyes' Week 5 game against the Spartans would start at 7 p.m. One week later, the conference has pushed the kickoff back to 7:30 p.m.
For those hoping the Big Ten would also change the television/streaming destination of Ohio State-Michigan State – our condolences – the game will still be streamed exclusively on Peacock. Ohio State will make its second appearance on NBC's subscription service when it faces Michigan State. The Buckeyes made their debut on Peacock on Oct. 14, 2023, and defeated Purdue, 41-7.
We have a time change: the @OhioStateFB game Saturday at Michigan State will start at 7:30 p.m. and not 7 p.m. as was previously announced. It will be streamed on Peacock.

The Spartans are off to a 3-1 start in 2024 under new head coach Jonathan Smith. Michigan State raced out to a 3-0 record with wins over Florida Atlantic, Maryland and Prairie View, but it fell to former Ohio State offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien and Boston College, 23-19, in the team's final non-conference game.
Ohio State has a 37-15 record all-time over Michigan State and currently holds an eight-game winning streak in its series with the Spartans. Each of the Buckeyes' last seven victories have come by 20 points or more, including a 38-3 blowout in 2023.
