The Wolverines won't be playing Iowa, either.
For the third-straight week, COVID-19 issues within the Michigan football program has forced a game cancelation as this weekend's game between Iowa and the Wolverines has also been canceled.
According to Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel, Michigan does not have enough players at multiple position groups and has fewer players available this week than it did last week. Manuel says the team has more than 50 unavailable players due to positive COVID-19 tests and contact tracing.
Michigan is the only Big Ten program to see three-straight canceled games, and also the only Big Ten team to have three cancelations due to a COVID-19 outbreak within its program.
