Welcome back to the Eleven Dubcast, and celebratory version of the Dubcast at that. This past weekend saw a big time Ohio State victory, and even more importantly, a victory for you as 11W readers raised over TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS for Down Syndrome Achieves. You guys are amazing and should seriously be proud of yourselves.
Unfortunately, I'm pretty angry at the moment, because instead of a lovely Dubgate video to add the cherry on top of a great weekend, I have the ashes of what was once my faith in technology being good and somewhat unterrible. One of my absolute favorite things to create for this site is an annual Dubgate video that showcases the various shenanigans that went down during our yearly tailgate, usually set to some semi-rocking tunes. Michael and I interview some people, I take poorly shot video of the game, everyone has a good time.
Instead, this year is the year that I discover why it's a good idea to invest in cameras with proprietary software that matches up with the proprietary software that your computer has. Or, actually, maybe just not being a giant idiot when it comes to file conversion. Anyway, roughly 20 minutes of footage from Saturday is sitting on my computer, defying every attempt to turn said footage into anything usable.
But! We still have a Dubcast for you! Please enjoy Michael and I as we gab about Bearcats, make empty promises about a Dubgate video, and answer your questions for our Ask Us Anything segment (which you can do by hitting us up via e-mail at elevendubcast@gmail.com)!
Thanks again to everyone who helped out with the Dubgate and Down Syndrome Achieves. You guys are quite possibly The Best, and you keep us going through the rough patches.
