Mark Titus was basically who I aspired to be in college.

I mean, kind of. Not in any athletic sense; I was usually in decent shape but have also always been incredibly slow and dull-witted when it comes to sports involving anything beyond "go swim there, and then back here." Titus has made his hay proclaiming his benchwarmer status, but the dude still had a pretty wet J back in the day and could dunk, two abilities I'll never have.
Instead, I really wanted to write ridiculous stories and make the kind of funny, insightful analysis for the internet that The Shark has become famous for. Mission possibly accomplished (???), but this interview shows why Titus is still the reigning champ. Stories for days, and they're all great.
But guess what, ESPN's John Gasaway is here too! His insight into the mechanics of college basketball is a must-listen for any fan; it's always a lot of fun talking to someone who clearly loves their job as much as John does, and his ability to pick up on the often overlooked aspects of the game make him a really awesome interview.
Oh, and Ask Us Anything! I'm a 30 year old man you can count on to make extensive Pokemon references at your request! That's my life now, Michael will help too. You can ask us anything on Twitter or via email.
0:00 Oh hey, whaddup Mike Weber! Turns out everything is actually okay on that front. Also: D'Angelo Russell is too good, man.
14:49 Ask Us Anything! Again, Pokemon. Not kidding.
25:11 John Gasaway tells us why Dean Smith is the father of modern sports analysis.
42:51 Mark Titus is apparently still on Evan Turner's rolodex, which amuses me greatly.
59:05 One day I will earn that snap back.
Mmm basketball fever, I can already start to feel it making the green pus of March Madness in my sinuses. Get pumped, because the next month is going to be a doozy. See y'all next week!
