Welcome to Campus Connection, the only place where you'll see coverage of the Ohio State pottery club or chess team throughout the #interwebz.
With Big Ten play starting, the mind of Ohio State students and fans everywhere is the well-being of the local football team. However, there are still plenty of other activities surrounding Ohio State student life, such as the Chinese Culture and Conversation Club (CCCC).
From their website: "Chinese Culture and Conversation Club (CCCC) is a group that aims to help students who are learning Chinese improve their language skills, promote traditional and contemporary Chinese culture, connects with Asian American Community."
"My girlfriend is from China studying here in America and we went to visit China for a month over the summer and I absolutely loved it," freshman member Chase Armstrong said. "So I decided to join the club here at Ohio State to further my education and hopefully be more immersed in the culture next time I go back,"

The club is led by president Yuchen Huang and secondary leader Vivian Zhou. Between 40-50 members show up to each event.
"A normal meeting features a presentation on something about Chinese culture. It could be about movies, or apps, or food. Anything is up for discussion. The presentation is in both English and Chinese, which is really cool because it allows you to learn some of the language while learning about the culture at the same time." Armstrong said.
If one is not a native Chinese speaker or does not have a full grasp of the language, the club has a program called the "language partner program" in order to improve your skills.
"Me and my language partner meet like once a week for an hour and just speak Chinese. It really helps me get to know the language better," Armstrong said.
