The Buckeye ballers moved up one spot to #4 in latest AP Poll and remained at #4 in the ESPN/USA Today rankings. The top three in both polls include UCLA at #1 followed by Pitt and North Carolina. The Big11Ten is still looking weak with only three teams represented. Wisconsin is #7 in both polls following a solid weekend victory over Marquette behind Alando Tucker's 28 points while Michigan State checks in at #23 in the ESPN/USA poll. Wisconsin and OSU are clearly the class of the conference this season.
Fox Sports' hoops blog has a piece on Greg Oden and how far advanced he is compared to Andrew Bynum, the L.A. Lakers center who turned pro out of high school before David Stern amended the draft rules paving the way for Oden to come to OSU. Gary Waters, head coach of recent victim Cleveland State, correctly asserts that OSU beats UNC if Oden is healthy.
