A game like this is all it takes to see why OSU can win it all or lose in the second round of the tourney to an inferior opponent. The Buckeyes jumped on Penn State early en route to a 40-19 halftime lead but fell asleep midway through the second half. Leading 54-33 with 7 minutes to go, OSU surrendered a 29-10 run down the stretch and hung on for dear life in the 64-62 victory.

Greg Oden finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks while Jamar Butler had 11 points 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Ron Lewis hit double figures with 12 points and 5 assists and Daequan Cook chipped in 11 points in 18 minutes. OSU assisted on 18 of 22 field goals made and outrebounded PSU 36-31. Typing about the game right now will only fuel my aggravation so I will defer to the experts for the time being.
