Where: United Center, Chicago, IL

When: 12:00pm EST

Records: OSU 27-3 (15-1); Wolverines 21-11 (8-8)

Opponent: Michigan earned a chance to go 0-3 against OSU this season with a 49-40 victory over lowly Minnesota in the first round of the Big Ten tournament. Dion Harris led UM with 14 points shooting 3-10 from the floor while Courtney Sims tallied 10 rebounds but only 4 points in 25 minutes. This flaming turd of a game saw UM lead 20-16 at the half and Minnesota went on to break the record for fewest points in a Big Ten tournament contest. Once again, the Wolverines will be playing the save the job of their turtle-necked coach, Tommy Amaker.

Buckeye Breakdown: OSU looks to lock up a #1 seed in the big dance although a few pundits suggest the Buckeyes could actually drop to a #2 seed if Wisconsin wins the Big Ten tourney. That fact along with the disrespect shown to Mike Conley by the coaches in their all-conference voting could produce a spirited effort this weekend in Chicago. OSU comes in well rested having played just twice in the last 13 days including a 65-61 defeat of the Wolverines last Saturday in Ann Arbor. Greg Oden and Ron Lewis scored 16 apiece as OSU scored the last 10 points in route to a school record tying 27th win against just three losses.

Notes: OSU comes in as an 8 ½ point favorite…The tasty Erin Andrews will serve as sideline reporter with Steve Lavin providing expert analysis…OSU is 6-6 all-time in the Big Ten tournament…The National Association of Basketball Coaches tabbed Greg Oden as a 2nd team All-American selection.
