Ohio State picked up their 11th commitment for the 2011 class when Centerville defensive tackle Michael Bennett gave the staff good news ($) earlier today.
The 6-3, 275-pounder is Scout's 6th-rated DT in the class and chose the Buckeyes over Northwestern, Florida, USC, Notre Dame, Nebraska and just about every other major D1 program in the country that had offered the elite prospect.
Bennett joins Kirk Herbstreit, Mike Nugent and A.J. Hawk as recent Centerville grads to continue their careers in Columbus and becomes the 8th offensive or defensive lineman in the class.
What is thought to be one of the better classes in the nation thus far just got a whole lot better.
Welcome to the family, Michael.
