Wadup, it’s Saturday y’all. Only five more of these until we can stop pretending to like baseball!

What are scientists in this country doing with their lives? The blueprint was laid out for them back in 1985, and it’s not that hard to follow. 1. Acquire a DeLorean 2. Pinch some Plutonium off of a few Libyans in exchange for used pinball machine parts. 3. Mix in eighty-eight miles per hour, 1.21 gigawatts and some other science stuff (I can’t explain it all, what are we paying you scientists for?) and there you have it.

If they’d stop being so lazy, the season would be here already. Get. It. Together.

DIEBLER AINT NO TURKEY. Before jumping into all things Big Ten Media Days, I wanted to call out this little bit of news from Buckeyextra. It was announced Thursday that former Buckeye guard Jon Threebler recently signed with Pinar Karsiyaka, a professional club in Turkey, making this the second season he will play in Europe. Diebler was signed by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2011 and played his first season in Greece. As early as last week he was traded to Houston who felt an additional season overseas would help prepare Diebler for a possible position as a role player in the NBA.

Diebler’s agent Lance Young had this to say about JD:

"He's always started, from the time he was in high school to his time at Ohio State," Young said. "But he'll always be a role player in the NBA. The big thing for him is going to be learning to come in off the bench cold and make shots right out of the gate."

Here’s hoping we see a lot of this from Diebler in an NBA uniform soon, as three truly is a magic number.

QUOTES ON QUOTES ON QUOTES. The final sunrise of Big Ten Media days has come and gone, but the quotes generated during the second day in the Windy City will echo an eternity (or something like that). 11w’s Kyle and Chad were there in full force covering all things Buckeyes and in case you missed them, here are a few choice second day snippets from your Theodore Brosevelts in the Scarlet and Gray.

Boom goes the dynamic"The most dynamic athlete I've ever coached" -Meyer

[Braxton Miller is ] “The most dynamic athlete I’ve ever coached” –Urban Meyer

“Zach was a little bit chubby last year, but he’s lean and mean this year” – John Simon on Zach Boren

“We’re not running the I-offense anymore. I don’t need to be cracking my helmet in the middle of the line anymore. We’re out of that era”- Zach Boren

"I see Zach Boren walking across the hall here. That kid deserves to play for a championship. He's earned that right. John Simon is one of the hardest working guys I've ever been around in 26 years, same with (Etienne) Sabino.” – Urban Meyer on the discomfort felt in serving a postseason ban

“There’s no such thing as a buffer year in college football, certainly not at Ohio State and certainly not with myself and our staff and our players “– Urban Meyer on the postseason ban.

"I certainly imagine in our home stadium there will be a buzz about that. I've already heard it. I haven't made that decision on how we're going to attack that game other than it's the biggest game of the year and we will get ready for it.” – Urban Meyer on the Michigan game

You ready for the season yet?

AND YOU GET A TWEET, AND YOU GET A TWEET! For those of you who had to go to work on Friday and do whatever it is “you do there”. Or, for those of you who STILL don’t have a Twitter account (get on that, seriously), here’s a best hits album of the 140 character correspondences delivered by Chad and Kyle on day two of Big Ten Media Days.

And this little gem, : (

Glad to have ya on OUR side this time Urbz.

THE TIMES THEY ARE A CHANGIN'. Sweeping changes have already been made for the Nittany Lions football program, but one more could be on the way. When asked Thursday if PSU would consider new uniforms for the upcoming season, Head Coach Bill O’Brien had this to say:

"[It’s] The new era of Penn State football. And some of the changes people will have to wait and see until September, on September 1."

Some believe changing the unis would be a way for the program to symbolically move past the scandal, as the forever unchanged minimal blue and white design screams Joe Pa.

While a uniform change will do nothing to fix the irreparable damage to the victims and family members, it will give the players (who had nothing to do with the scandal) something to feel good about. It should be interesting to see how O’Brien and company handle this moving forward.

GIVE THE BABY ITS LINKY. Speaking of uniforms, here are all of the changes coming up in the Big Ten... Some cats just want to be left alone...
