When I first saw news Alabama went and hired Avery Johnson, my first thought was, "On purpose?"
But, yes, it appears that it indeed happened. And yes, thirsty-ass Alabama basketball (who got spurned by Wichita State's Gregg Marshall) is trumpeting the hiring of a .577 career NBA coach as a big deal.

I'm more freaked out by the identical Avery Johnson faces in both of those selfies than I am anything else. Write it down: Johnson is going to be a disaster in Tuscaloosa.
