Billy Donovan once left Florida to coach the Orlando Magic, but thought twice about it and returned to Florida.
That said, Florida isn't as good as they used to be, and coaching Kevin Durant would be a lot easier than coaching a manbaby like Dwight Howard.
From Marc Stein of ESPN.com:
The Oklahoma City Thunder have formally entered into advanced discussions about their vacant coaching job with Florida coach Billy Donovan, according to league sources.
Sources told ESPN.com that Donovan and Thunder general manager Sam Presti have opened a serious dialogueabout the position, which became available a week ago after the dismissal of Scott Brooks. One source close to the situation went so far as to tell ESPN.com that "the job is Donovan's to lose."
Donovan is Florida's winningest basketball coach. If he leaves, Gators fans will know whom to blame: Urban Frank Meyer.
