As far as fanatics go, sports fans are some of the most benevolent. Yet, like most anything involving large segments of humans, there's a seedy underbelly that is horrific to look at.
Nick Saban has been staring into that underbelly for awhile, now.
From Nick Saban's upcoming Golf Channel interview, via FTW.USATODAY.com:
“I just think that in every sport, there’s about 20 percent bad fans. They don’t get it. They’re disrespectful. They do things and say things that don’t really need to be said; that aren’t helpful; that don’t reflect the image of what college football is all about, or even what sports is all about. You should appreciate the competition.”
Sounds like Satan's nephew is feeling the heat down there in Tuscaloosa.
