Auburn and Penn State announced a planned home-and-home series Monday. The Tigers will head north to play in Beaver Stadium during the 2021 season, while the Nittany Lions will strike south to play in Jordan-Hare Stadium during the 2022 season.
According to al.com, Auburn pushed back its 2021 road game at California to 2023.
Props to both schools for doing an old-fashioned home-and-home and avoiding a neutral site game like 2016's upcoming clash between Louisiana State and Wisconsin at Lambeau Field. This is the stuff of which college football is made.
The only question remaining is if either Gus Malzahn or James Franklin will be coaching in those games.
