Ohio State isn‘t the only team on Michigan's mind as the Wolverines prepare for 2023.
In an appearance on the “Move the Sticks” podcast with Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks, The Athletic's Bruce Feldman reported that Michigan has shifted from its Ohio State rivalry as its sole focus this offseason, adding a Georgia practice period to its already-established "Beat Ohio State" sessions.
Interesting nugget from @BruceFeldmanCFB on with @MoveTheSticks @BuckyBrooks saying that in addition to having a Beat Ohio State team period, Michigan has added a Beat Georgia period too.

"Now, they have a 'Beat Georgia' period, too," Feldman told Jeremiah and Brooks, later commenting that the Wolverines need to take down the Bulldogs "in the recruiting office as much as anything else."
Still, Feldman thinks Michigan's 2023 roster is "Jim Harbaugh's most talented team" since he became head coach. He also explained that Harbaugh believes a "Beat Georgia" period will help his players become a "different kind of team" that can defeat the back-to-back national champions of the College Football Playoff – the first title involving a 34-11 win over the Wolverines in the CFP semifinal.
"They have a bunch of those guys who decided to come back as opposed to leaving early for the NFL," Feldman said. "And a lot of those guys were their real team leaders. And they are almost all back. To me, not only should they be a Playoff team. … if Jim Harbaugh were to (ever) win a national title, this would be it. This would be the team."
Off the heels of consecutive losses to Michigan, Ohio State will travel to Ann Arbor on Nov. 25 for a battle with the Wolverines. The Buckeyes have not lost three straight contests to their rivals since a stretch of defeats in 1995, 1996 and 1997 under former head coach John Cooper.
