Although Texas quarterback Arch Manning hasn't started his first season with the Longhorns, the former five-star prospect and No. 1 overall recruit is already a record-breaker. However, the record he broke wasn't on the football field.
On Saturday, Manning's one-of-one Prizm Black autographed card, produced by Panini America, was auctioned off for charity and sold for $102,500. The sale was the most expensive transaction ever on the company's website, beating out a one-of-one Luka Doncic national treasures card that sold for $100,000.

All the proceeds from Manning's sale will benefit a Central Texas nonprofit with the assistance of St. David's HealthCare and St. David's Foundation. The auction winner is unknown, but that person will have the chance to meet Manning, throw the football and stand with him in the check presentation for the proceeds.
The card's sale was part of Manning's first NIL deal he agreed to since signing with Texas in the 2022 class. While the auction was for charity, Manning's NIL deal with Panini will include various trading card products, and he will also collaborate with the company to develop his own cards.
Manning is the son of Cooper Manning, nephew of Peyton and Eli and grandson of Archie. The latter three Mannings were all quarterbacks in the NFL, with Peyton and Eli winning two Super Bowls each – Peyton with the Indianapolis Colts (2007) and Denver Broncos (2016) and Eli with the New York Giants (2008 and 2012).
