Welp, last week The Athletic wrote a glowing piece about how Harbaugh brought in a consigliere - Biff Poggi - as associate head coach. Bruce Feldman wrote the piece crediting Poggi with leading Michigan's turnaround. Mike McDonald (former DC who left for the Ravens) described Poggi as the only guy on staff willing to hash it out with Harbaugh. He sounds genuinely like the culture leader of the program.
Today, The Athletic reports that Biff is headed to Charlotte as the new head coach - https://theathletic.com/3900757/2022/11/15/biff-poggi-michigan-charlotte/. Can't blame a guy for cashing in and getting his own team to run.
I guess we will find out next year and beyond how much credit he deserved for TTUN's turnaround the last two years.
