Am I the only one who has noticed this narrative being pushed by the network? Granted I don't watch ESPN at all and don't watch a lot of college basketball, I more use it as a source for information online and I have repeatedly seen posts saying "SEC dominating men's basketball", which is hilarious to me.
It's like they HAVE to push the SEC as the best in something since that is no longer the case in football, but at least in football there was a case that could easily be made. In basketball it's not even something anyone is saying but them, mostly because they show the most games and, just like in football, the narrative they create is reflected in rankings, and this year's rankings are the only think they use to make these absurd statements.
I guess my point is that besides actual reporting ESPN isn't really good for much and even this is lacking when they don't mention that the rival basically admitted to cheating, just not a whole lot of it (eyes rolling).
