Which Player(s) Could change that next year? Per Cleveland.com
JaQuan Lyle: Lyle has the skill to be one of the best players in the Big Ten. It's been hard work for the coaching staff to bring that out of him on a nightly basis. If he puts it all together this year, the sophomore could return in 2017-18 as a sure thing to be on the preseason list.
Keita Bates-Diop: Long, athletic wing who can shoot the ball? That's the mold of a potential star player. Bates-Diop, who didn't play much as a freshman but made strides as a sophomore, is expected to make a big leap. Some think he has potential NBA talent, so a strong junior season isn't off the table.
Jae'Sean Tate: He might be Ohio State's best shot at ending this streak. He'd be a senior coming into next season, and improved his scoring and rebounding to 11.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game last year. He's tough, he's a leader and he's been Ohio State's most consistent player not named D'Angelo Russell over the past two seasons.
