Ohio State is still attempting to add a player or two to its roster next season.
The Buckeyes have a couple of important upcoming visits that will go a long way in deciding whether or not they can do just that.
According to ESPN's Jeff Goodman, Ohio State will host Howard graduate transfer James Daniel for an official visit May 14. Daniel also told ESPN he has official visits finalized to Tennessee (May 27) and Michigan (May 29). He will also reportedly visit Depaul.
Daniel played in just two games last season due to an injury, but as a junior, he led the nation in scoring with an average of 27.1 points per game.
Daniel — a 6-foot, 170-pound combo guard — would be immediately eligible as a graduate transfer. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Ohio State will also get a visit this weekend from four-star guard Mark Smith, who has seen his recruitment soar of late. Smith recently picked up offers from Michigan State and Kentucky and he's also reportedly set to host Duke for an in-home visit.
According to Norm Sanders of the Belleville News-Democrat, Smith will visit Ohio State this weekend.
