With College Basketball starting tomorrow, I decided to take a look at the preseason predictions for the tournament from Joe Lunardi.
Lunardi has the Buckeyes as a 3 seed in the tournament. He actually has them playing in Cleveland in the first round against Wright State. That would be a nice first round site, playing the winner of Xavier and Notre Dame.
Rounding out the big 10, Michigan state is the overall number 1 seed, Maryland is a 2 seed, Purdue is a 5 seed, Michigan is an 8 seed, and Wisconsin and Illinois are 10 seeds.
For some of the Buckeyes noncon opponents, Cincinnati is a 9 seed, Villanova is a 3 seed, North Carolina is a 2 seed, Kentucky is a 1 seed, and West Virginia is an 11 seed and one of the final teams in.
