THE PERTINENT INFO

When: Saturday, November 25, 2023
Where: Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor, Michigan
TV: Noon // FOX
Announcers: Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt, Tom Rinaldi

This will be the 119th time Ohio State and Michigan have faced each other in football. The Buckeyes are 52–60–6* all-time against their rival and are 24–32–4  when the game is played in Ann Arbor.

It's hard to believe, but because Michigan ducked Ohio State in 2020, a Buckeye fan who is younger than six years old does not have a winning record against those cheaters to the north.

Last week, those cheating ass cheaters escaped College Park with a closer-than-expected 31-24 victory. Did you know the Wolverines have lost six consecutive bowl games and the team has lost 25 times since Jimmy took over in 2015?

To put that in perspective, Ohio State has won 100 games and lost 12 times since 2015. Five of the losses were to conference foes. You would need to go back to Jan. 1, 2009 for the Buckeyes to have 25 overall losses. Since 2005, Ohio State has won 143 Big Ten games with 17 losses. That's the same amount of conference losses that Michigan has since 2015.

Below, you will find some interesting facts about the teams, key offensive player stats, coach information, and team stats.

Ohio State

THE LAST TIME...

  • The Game was played without the specter of cheating was 2019; the Scarlet and Gray beat Michigan, 56-27 in Ann Arbor.

ON THE HORIZON

  • Ohio State is 11-0, if the Buckeyes defeat Michigan it will be the sixth time the Buckeyes reached 12-0 in a season. The other seasons were: 2019, 2013, 2012, 2006 and 2002.
  • Marvin Harrison Jr. currently has 13 touchdown catches this season. He is one TD reception away from moving past David Boston and Chris Olave for second on the most touchdown catches in a season list. Harrison needs four to tie Terry Glenn (17).
  • Harrison (62) can move past Cris Carter (69) for eighth on OSU's season receptions list.
  • Harrison (1,093) is 35 yards away from moving past Cris Carter (1,127) and 59 yards away from Emeka Egbuka (1,151) for sixth and fifth on the all-time receiving yards in a season list on Saturday.

When the Buckeyes didn't have more rushing yards, they are 0–4 (2022, 2021, 2011 and 2003) against the Wolverines.

The team with more rushing yards is 12–0 since 2010 in The Game.

Since 2001, the team that has more rushing yards is 21–0.

Going back to 1938 Ohio State is 32–12–2 when outrushing Michigan and 11–29–2 when finishing with fewer rushing yards than their rival.
