All the media have been saying how terrible we are as fans. And now with how it's looking, Tennessees about to take over the stadium. I haven't heard Desmond get booed once on gameday... smh. It's just gonna prove their statements. And recruits are watching, they don't wanna play for a bunch of irrational fans. "If we win a natty it comes with an asterisk." We need to get over ourselves. College football has changed. You can lose 2 to 3 times now and make the playoffs! We could play bitchigan 3 times in one season. Some years we could be 2 and 1 vs them. Some years, 1 and 2. But we're no longer out if we lose to them. It's no longer gonna be the end! I hate to say it doesn't matter as much anymore, but it really doesn't. Believe me I hate them and have been adamant my whole life about what that game means, and that we do not lose that game. But College football isnt changing, it's changed and I've had to come to terms with that maybe I need to start curbing by enthusiasm.

And honestly the only reason they've beat us the last 4 years. Is because we hype up and do a bunch of "we prepare for that team up north everyday all year" blah blah blah. And they don't talk about it, they just come about it. I believe thats what Bjork was getting at when he was interviewed. Not that he didnt understand the rivalry. Just that the reason we lose is because we're so damn stressed about it when we play them we cant even be ourseleves. So its time to drop Urbans sticks, and drop the we gotta be tough bullshit. Just come and throw for 600 yards and 8 tds and screw playing their game and stressing about them.

College football is now the NFL. Example being Steelers lose to browns ravens bengals at least once a year. Still see them going for superbowl! We can't turn our back on these guys like it seems like we have with the amount of orange I see on Gameday. It will ruin our whole program, slowly but surely we will whither away like USC. And a big part of it is gonna be us and our attitudes going into this new Era. Recruiting is the lifeblood of any elite program. And no high schoolers or transfers are gonna want to come play for a bunch of fans that don't stand behind them.

End rant. Just very frustrating seeing this GameDay turnout... makes ya think maybe the talking heads are right. Go ahead and Down vote into oblivion now! Expected it when I started typing lol
