Deadspin (yeah I know) guy called Pepper Johnson for an interview, which I gather is a rare occurrence, and they talked for four hours. Wide ranging but he comes across as hard working and disciplined.

He talks about his time as a player, and his time coaching in New England, Buffalo, and the Jets.

When I first left New England and went to Buffalo, I was told to stay in my lane. Never heard that philosophy or statement or whatever before.

He says he felt much more respected in New England. I hope he finds another job soon.
