The No. 7-ranked Buckeyes (20-4, 11-2 MIVA) also clinched the top seed in the MIVA Tournament, which begins next Saturday, with Friday night's win.
With a victory over Ball State on Saturday, Ohio State would win the conference title outright. Should Ohio State (which is currently on a nine-game winning streak) lose to Ball State, Loyola could also earn a share of the conference crown with a win over Quincy on Saturday.
