This Week in Twitter is a look at some of the week's best and most entertaining tweets from Buckeyeland and beyond.

Sunday belonged to all of the fantastic mothers that make our families and communities special. Buckeyes everywhere took time to celebrate their wonderful moms.

D'Angelo Russell is the first Ohio State player to make the NBA conference finals in nine years, and he isn't satisfied. Russell scored 19 points in the Lakers' closeout victory over Golden State, and now hopes to help his squad swing back against the Nuggets as the series shifts to Los Angeles.

The Buckeye baseball team is ending the year strong; Ohio State has won eight consecutive games, and will look to complete its season with a sweep of Michigan on Saturday afternoon.

Justin Fields and Kamryn Babb each have younger sisters that continue to shine both academically and athletically. Jaiden Fields - a second-team All-SEC softball player - graduated from Georgia, while Taylor Babb is a star midfielder who will continue her soccer career at Division I SIUE in the fall.

A pair of standout Ohio State forwards are up to exciting things this offseason. Former Buckeye E.J. Liddell is back to throwing down windmill dunks 10 months after tearing his ACL, and Cotie McMahon will represent the USA at the FIBA U19 Women's World Cup in July.

Transfer additions Tywone Malone and Josh Simmons have begun their Ohio State journeys, and both expressed excitement to be donning the Scarlet and Gray.

Keyshawn Woods finished his collegiate career in Columbus, and is now a premier scorer for Tindastóll in Iceland. On Thursday night, Woods' squad took home a title in front of an absolutely wild crowd.

After inking NFL contracts, Antwuan Jackson and Taron Vincent will each have an opportunity to carve out a role ahead of the new campaign.

Jim Brown passed away, and the sports world mourned the loss of one of its greatest heroes. Brown - a Hall of Famer in both football and lacrosse - was 87 years old.

Lastly, Cardale Jones took a playful swipe at Stetson Bennett by referencing his own infamous 2012 tweet about going to class.
