It was a good start to the weekend for Ohio State's cheerleading team.
On the first day of the 2024 UDA College Nationals at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, OSU's spirit program won the national championship on Friday night.

The Buckeyes dominated the competition on their way to the national title. Their 98.45 points were more than the difference between the second-place University of Mississippi spirit team (94.7333) and fifth-place Louisiana-Lafayette (91.5167).
