This Week in Twitter is a look at some of the week’s best and most entertaining tweets from Buckeyeland and beyond.
New Ohio State President Ted Carter has made it no secret he's a huge fan of hockey. So it was fitting he dropped the ceremonial first puck for the Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena on Monday.

President Carters passion for the game of hockey included a 4-year collegiate playing career at the US Naval Academy.

You probably weren't expecting Carnell Tate and the Chicago White Sox to be featured in the same sentence together this week. But the White Sox have made Tate, a Chicago native, one of their CHISOX athletes as part of an NIL deal. Another college athlete the White Sox sponsored was Indiana State's Robbie Avila, more affectionately known for his nickname Cream Abdul-Jabbar.
Excited to announce I am a CHISOX Athlete. Lets go, @whitesox! pic.twitter.com/Di0gEk71T6

Meechie Johnson made news this week when he announced he's coming back to Columbus after a successful season at South Carolina, giving Jake Diebler another legitimate scoring option.

Like many others, Johnson is also impressed with Iowa standout Caitlin Clark, who will attempt to guide Iowa to a national championship against South Carolina Sunday.

Ohio State football officially hired its new running backs coach this week, as the Buckeyes poached Oregon running backs coach Carlos Locklyn. In his first few practices at OSU, Locklyn has already made a favorable impression on Quinshon Judkins, Dallan Hayden, TC Caffey and other running backs in the OSU room.

Remember former OSU men's basketball player Jimmy Sotos? Sotos had a notable TikTok following during his Columbus career, and now the former Buckeye is doing content for YahooSports during March Madness.

Speaking of former Ohio State basketball players, Aaron Craft might just be considering a career path in healthcare, though we're gonna guess it's a basketball squad instead of the latter.

The Oregon vs. Ohio State game in Eugene this year is already one fans have circled on their calendars. Oregon is planning on making that game a blackout.
