Trevor Thompson's NBA dream might not be dead just yet.
After leaving school with one year of eligibility remaining and going undrafted, it appears as though the former Ohio State center will get another crack at the NBA as he joins the Boston Celtics' Summer League team.
Excited to get started with this journey couldn't be more grateful and blessed for this opportunity thank you @celtics !!

The Celtics are scheduled to participate in the Utah Summer League from July 3–6 and the Las Vegas Summer League from July 7–17. It's unclear right now if Thompson will play in just one session or both.
Thompson played two seasons at Ohio State after he transferred from Virginia Tech. Last year, as a redshirt junior, the 7-footer averaged 10.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. He shot 57.1 percent from the field and averaged just over 23 minutes per contest. Thompson was named honorable mention All-Big Ten for the 2016–17 season.
Thompson averaged 8.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game throughout his two-year career in Columbus.
