Ohio State dropped its complete non-conference men's basketball schedule for the 2021-22 season on Thursday afternoon, revealing a slate with big-time matchups at home, on the road and at neutral sites.

The Buckeyes will open their campaign – after a Nov. 1 exhibition against an unannounced opponent – by taking on Akron on Nov. 9 in one of their seven out-of-conference games set to be held at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus. They'll then meet Niagra (No. 12) and Bowling Green (Nov. 15) for home games before going on the road to face Xavier as part of the Gavitt Games on Nov. 18.
Ohio State will proceed to travel to Florida to take part on the Fort Myers Tip-Off where it'll play two games on Nov. 22 and 24 against two of Seton Hall, California and Florida. The matchups haven't been set yet.
Chris Holtmann's team will go back to Columbus for a Nov. 30 game versus Duke, which will be played as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. It'll then play one home game – against Towson on Dec. 8 – before going to a yet-to-be-announced location where it'll meet Kentucky on Dec. 18 in its annual CBS Sports Classic game.
The Buckeyes wrap up non-conference play by playing host to Tennessee Martin (Dec. 21) and New Orleans (Dec. 28).
All game times and television designations will be determined at a later date.
