Despite being down 20 points in the second half in its Sunday contest against Purdue, Ohio State fought its way back to tie the game at 78 apiece with less than 30 seconds remaining.
Purdue's Jaden Ivey delivered the dagger at the buzzer, ending the Buckeyes' chances of pulling an upset on the road.
While Chris Holtmann said he was pleased by the effort, he said that's simply an expectation.
"I would have been devastated if we didn't fight to the buzzer," Holtmann said after the game.
