Duane Washington Jr. will soon play professional basketball in the Big Apple.
The former Ohio State standout will sign a two-way contract with the New York Knicks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Washington was previously with the Phoenix Suns on a two-way deal this season.
The Knicks are planning to sign guard Duane Washington Jr., on a two-way contract, sources tell ESPN. Washington averaged 7.9 points in nearly 13 minutes for Suns this season.

Washington appeared in 31 NBA games this season while with the Suns, including seven starts. The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 7.9 points in 12.7 minutes per game. Per Statmuse, his best stretch with Phoenix came between Dec. 20 and Jan. 10, when Washington scored 10 points or more eight times despite receiving inconsistent playing time from Suns head coach Monty Williams.

Before his stint in Arizona, Washington played for the Indiana Pacers in his rookie season. He appeared in 48 NBA games while on a two-way and standard contract and averaged 9.9 points in 20.2 minutes per game.
Washington played at Ohio State for three years from 2018-21. During that time, he appeared in 94 games (48 starts) and averaged 11.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists in those contests. His best season as a Buckeye was his last, as Washington scored 16.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game as a junior.
