Ohio State has only gone head-to-head with Texas A&M twice since the 1949-50 season, with the most recent matchup taking place on Nov. 23, 2007. The Buckeyes lost the contest in a 70-47 blowout at Madison Square Garden. Ohio State also lost the previous game against the Aggies, a three-point defeat on Dec. 14, 1957.
Texas A&M went 25-10 under head coach Buzz Williams this past season and entered the NCAA Tournament as a No. 7 seed before losing to Penn State in the first round.
