Battle earned an invitation to the 3-Point Championships after shooting 43.3 percent from beyond the arc – the sixth-best percentage in the entire country – this season, his lone season as a Buckeye after transferring to Ohio State from Minnesota.
A full list of participants has not yet been released, but other participants will include Northwestern’s Boo Buie – the only Big Ten player with a better 3-point percentage this season (43.4) – and Oakland’s Jack Gohlke, who led the Golden Grizzlies to the biggest upset of this year’s NCAA Tournament by making 10 threes in their 80-76 win over Kentucky.
