Ohio State five-star safety commit Jaiden Woodbey showed why he's one of the top-rated prospects in the country, as he earned an invitation to Nike's The Opening Finals on Wednesday afternoon.
He participated in the Los Angeles Regional two weeks ago, but was not initially invited to the finals.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Woodbey, of Bellflower, California, St. John Bosco, is considered the third-best safety and the No. 24 prospect overall in the Class of 2018. He picked Ohio State following an unofficial visit for Junior Day over finalists Nebraska, Oklahoma and USC.
The event will take place in Beaverton, Oregon, in either late June or early July.
