The 11W Community Interview is truly of the people, by the people and for the people. You submit the questions and then we pass them on to the biggest names in the world of Ohio State athletics.
It's not often a player of Josh Proctor's caliber opts to leave the state of Oklahoma to play football, but that's exactly what the Owasso native did when he committed to Ohio State at halftime of the Spring Game last April. And though the Sooners made quite the push to flip his pledge late in the process, he kept his word and signed with the Buckeyes last month.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Proctor finished his senior season with 39 tackles and four interceptions — two of which he returned for touchdowns — to lead the Rams to their first state championship in more than 40 years. He was named first-team all-state and Mr. Football as a result.
Proctor will enroll in classes in June with hopes of cracking the two-deep as a true freshman. But first, he took a few minutes to sit down and talk with our readers about his relationships with other recruits, hidden talents and much more in the 11W Community Interview.
