Thanks to a 13–0–2 start and runs in the 1920s and 1940s, Michigan has long held the series edge over Ohio State, owning a 58–46–6 record in the rivalry. Ohio State made moves to even things up through the years, but then John Cooper's 2–10–1 happened.
However, with today's 42–28 win over the Wolverines – Ohio State's 12th win in the last 14 years – the series is all squared at 46–46–4 in Big Ten play, which dates to 1918.
That's the Jim Tressel (9–1 vs. Michigan) and Urban Meyer (3–0) effect.
Oh, there's this, too:
This year's OSU seniors will be the 11th straight senior class to graduate with a winning record vs. Michigan.
