The San Diego Chargers report to training camp Friday as its 2016 camp opens in San Diego Saturday morning.
The franchise expects one notable absence, however: The No. 3 overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, defensive end Joey Bosa.

The Chargers believe they set a precedent with refusing offset language. Bosa's team, obviously, is trying to set precedent of their own. Bosa skipped a portion of the team's organized team activities last month to show the club the seriousness of his intentions.
After former teammate Darron Lee signed his contract with the New York Jets on Thursday, Bosa and San Francisco 49ers guard Joshua Garnett, the 28th overall pick in the draft, are the only two first-rounders that remain unsigned.
Bosa's contract is projected to be worth $25,873,685, with $17,017,226 of that coming as a signing bonus.
