Though J.T. Barrett hasn't thought about it, Saturday against Michigan could be his final game in the Horseshoe.
If this is the final act in Columbus for the Texan, residents of his hometown, Wichita Falls, want to know how proud they are of his accomplishments 1,053 miles away in Columbus.
According to Ted Buss of The Wichita Falls Times-Record-News, a plane will fly over Ohio Stadium before The Game flying a banner that reads: “WICHITA FALLS, TX. PROUD HOME OF J.T. BARRETT.”
The two-time captain signed with Ohio State in 2013 when an offer from then-Texas Longhorns coach Mack Brown failed to materialize.
No. 3 Michigan at No. 2 Ohio State kicks off Saturday at noon on ESPN.
