Ohio State's Pro Day was the hottest ticket in town a year ago.
And while the number of participants is a bit lower than it was at this time last year, there will certainly be plenty of NFL coaches and executives inside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center to watch former Buckeyes work out.
On Monday, Ohio State announced its annual Pro Day would be held Thursday, March 23.
The Buckeyes lost the following players early to NFL Draft declarations: safety Malik Hooker, linebacker Raekwon McMillan, wide receiver Noah Brown, running back/wide receiver Curtis Samuel and cornerbacks Marshon Lattimore and Gareon Conley. At this point, all would be expected to participate in Pro Day in at least some facet, though Hooker is recovering from an injury. Senior center Pat Elflein would also be a likely Pro Day participant.
All seven — plus punter Cameron Johnston — are scheduled to appear at the NFL Combine, as well. The combine begins later this week in Indianapolis.
